Every ribbon-based module contains thousands of solder joints. Each one is a potential failure point—mechanically and electrically. In rigid modules, glass and frame hold them in place. In flexible modules, bending, vibration, and thermal cycling push them to their limits. PEC-BC eliminates them entirely: patterned copper foil, conductive adhesive, surface-to-surface connection. It costs more. That's the price of reliability.
